540 arrested in NSW during two-day blitz on alcohol-related crime

Police have arrested 282 people across New South Wales on the second night of the Operation Unite blitz on alcohol-related crime and anti-social behaviour. NSW worst for alcohol harm

NSW is the worst place in Australia when it comes to tackling alcohol abuse and liquor-fuelled violence, a panel of experts has ruled. Man notches up 6th drink-drive bust

A CANBERRA man has been caught driving five times over the normal alcohol limit in his sixth drink driving bust. ACT police said the 45-year-old man from the up-market suburb of Red Hill blew 0.267 after another motorist dobbed him in for driving recklessly in his white ute on Thursday morning. He had been convicted five time before for drink driving, most recently in September.
